Rogue Testing on Public Test Realm
For those who have access to the PTR, they had the opportunity to test the new Rogue Archetype. PTR is meant for targetted testing, so players were permitted to boost to level 15 on this isolated environment to quickly get their hands on several skill points and fully explore the new class.
There was also a PVP Test on the PTR meant to help test the new Stealth mechanic that will be introduced with the Rogue. Players have spoken about their thoughts on the archetype as it is right now, with the Advantage class resource in-particular standing out creating a higher skill ceiling compared to other classes.
Many players appreciate a deepening of skill ceiling, as that allows for greater skill expression as players get more accustomed to the class. This should be great news to all, as all classes will be getting reworked and updated over the coming months, and as Intrepid Game Designers grow more confident in their class vision, these archetypes will gradually improve as well.
